Adding Snow to Image Tutorial
Using the Plug-in "Snowflake" from Vanderlee.com

First Download & install the snowflake plug-in. Just double click on it and install,
Make sure you install it to the PSP Program you use.
Start by opening an image or photo you want to add snow to.The above picture
I made using a winter background & added tubes to make the scenery.If you do
make sure you merge all layers before adding the snow.
Go to "Window" - "Duplicate" & duplicate twice so that you have
3 copies total of your picture.
Close off the top 2 layers & highlight the first layer to make active.
Go to Effects - Plugins -VDL Adrenaline Snowflake.
Configure it to the settings used below. Press Okay.
Close off this layer & open your Second layer, highlight it to make active.
Open your snowflake plug-in again & use following settings.Press Okay.
Close this layer off & open your Third layer, Highlight to make Active, open plug-in
use settings below. Press Okay.
Now open all your layers, You should see all the eyes with NO check marks on them.
Go to File - Save As - Name it - Save as a PSP file!
Remember where your saving this!
Open Animation Shop - Find & open the image you saved.
You should see the 3 frames come up.
Go to View - View Animation - and see how it looks.
If it's too fast go to Edit - Select all - Animation - Frame properties - and change the speed.
If you want to resize your animation go to File - Select All - Animation - Resize Animation
Enter the percentage that you want to resize it to.
Remember if you don't like something you can always click on Edit - Undo.
To Save your Animation
Click on File - Save As
- Name it & choose the folder where you want it saved.
It will be saved as a Gif File.
The Animation Wizard will pop up, Just use the settings below.
Your All Done!
Find your picture in the folder you saved it to & test it out.
You can Also use the glitter instead in the Plug-in to add animated Glitter to your picture.
You would do it the exact same way except choose glitter in the Drop Down box in the SnowFlake Plug-in.
The settings can also be changed,Experiment & see the different effects that you can do.

You can now use this as a background for another project & create a New Graphic.
Sample:
In PSP create your Top Image, Make sure it's the same size as your animation you made.
Duplicate your picture twice so you have a total of 3.
Save as a PSP file making sure all layer Eyes are Unchecked!
Open Animation Shop
Open your animated graphic - Edit - Select All
Open Your New PSP file you made under the one above - Edit - Select All
click on your first frame & drag it to the first frame in your animation -DO NOT LET GO-
Position it to exactly where you want it then release it & it should
propagate to the next 2 frames. Now test this animation by going to
View - View Animation.
If your happy with it - go to - file - save as - and create your New Graphic.
